We are an inclusive theater community where people with diverse abilities work together to shape the future of a more open society through encounter, shared growth, and self-expression.How would it feel if everyone accepted the trait you consider your biggest flaw?
At MáSzínház, this isn’t really a question. We are an inclusive theater community where people with diverse abilities work together to shape the future of a more open society through encounter, shared growth, and self-expression.
We do all this by creating a wide variety of spaces for connection. Our weekly arts education sessions are attended by people with intellectual disabilities, people on the autism spectrum, and neurotypical individuals—in other words, those who have a diagnosis of their “strangeness” and those who do not—and they grow together through the tools of theater.
Audiences at our public performances can connect through our stories—not only with us, but also with themselves. This connection can be experienced even more deeply in our workshops and other community and artistic events.

More than 160 people participate in our 14 different weekly sessions, supported by a team of nearly 60 volunteers and a dozen art and special education teachers. Our ongoing performances and other public programs attract more than 1,000 audience members and participants each year.

We believe that everyone has value and strength—to speak up, connect, bring about change, reach their full potential… or simply to be #cool.
In other words…
YOU HAVE IT ALL WITHIN YOU.
